Minimum Stock

Minimum Stock (最小在庫数)

TEMPO allows the user to input minimum stocks, Min Stock, at each location (Parts at Site/Min. Stk). These are used to constrain the optimization. Sometimes management requires certain minimum stock levels at specific sites.

Another application of a minimum stock control variable is the control of an overshoot. This is a condition in which the last iteration of the model achieves a criterion value significantly greater than the goal.

You can achieve a mix of stock that comes closer to the target by starting the run with the right amount of the final item. For example, if the last iteration bought the 2nd unit of item XYZ, make IS = 2 for XYZ in the item data table. Now when you run, the big effect of the 2nd unit of XYZ will occur at the beginning of the run and smaller increments will occur at the end of the calculation, reducing the degree of overshoot.
