最大在庫数 (Max Stk)
最大在庫は、指定された場所あるいはすべての場所のパーツの最大在庫レベルを特定する、オプションの入力変数です(サイトのパーツ/最大在庫)。空白にしておくと、そのアイテムの在庫レベルは制限されません。ゼロを入力すると、このアイテムについては在庫を購入しないという指定になることに注意してください。
総/全サイトの数値が最大在庫について特定される場合、すべての場所でのこのパーツの総在庫は、通常この数値あるいはそれより小さくなります。TEMPO は、内部に合計が残っていることから、それぞれの場所について指定された量より少ない量かあるいは同量を買います。1つ例外があります。調達する初期パイプライン在庫の数値を正にするかあるいは初期在庫を使用すると、これらの在庫は、最大在庫の制限が効果を発揮するより前に考慮に入れられます。
多くのパーツについて最大在庫が小さな数値に設定されると、TEMPO は指定された目標を達成できない可能性があります。この場合、ランは達成できる最大可用率のところで終了します。
最大在庫は、サイトで許容される在庫の量が、明確にモデル化できない考え(例: ポリシー)によってコントロールされるような、特別な状況の決定に特に有効です。
最大在庫は、主としてある特定のアイテムの調達を制限するために使用します。また、既に所有している在庫の再分配にも使用できます。これは、それぞれのアイテムについて総/全サイトの数値を設定することによって可能です。最適な追加調達が望まれる場合、初期在庫を再分配の結果と同じに設定して第2のモデルをランさせます。

Maximum Stock (Max Stk) （最大在庫数）
Max Stk is an optional input variable (Parts at Site/Max Stk) specifying the maximum stock level of a part either at a given location or at all locations. If left blank, the stock level for the item is unconstrained. Note that entering a zero specifies that no stock may be purchased for this item.
When a total/all sites value is specified for Max Stk, the total stock of this part at all locations will normally be this value or less. TEMPO will buy less than or equal to the amount specified for each location, subject to remaining inside the total. There is one exception: if you use a positive value for initial pipeline stock to be procured, or use initial stocks, these stocks will be taken into account before the maximum stock limits take effect.
If Max Stk is set to small values on a large number of parts, it is possible that TEMPO may not be able to meet the specified targets. In this case, the run terminates at the largest availability achievable.
Max Stk is particularly useful for defining special situations in which the amount of stock allowed at a site is controlled by considerations (e.g., policy) that cannot be modeled explicitly.
Max Stk is used primarily to limit the procurement on any specified item. In addition, it can be used to redistribute stock already owned. This is accomplished by setting a total/all sites value for each item. TEMPO will then allocate the total stock optimally to the various locations. If additional optimal procurement is desired, a second model run is made where the initial stocks are set equal to the results of the redistribution.
