Duty Cycle

DC (Duty Cycle) （交換間隔／デューティサイクル）

DC is an input variable (Structures/MTBF Data) that represents the operating time of an item as a fraction of its parent's operating time. This value is analogous to the conversion factor defined by MIL-STD-1388-2A. Duty cycle, however, is only defined between immediately adjacent parent/child pairs. The value is used to modify the value of MRR6 obtained from the following calculation:

Duty cycle is an optional input. If it is left blank, the default value will be set to 1. Its value will have no effect if the data set contains a value in the MRR6 field.
