Shadow Price

Shadow Price (潜在価格)

The purpose of a shadow price is to portray the true cost of positioning a spare part at a site, in a more complete manner than would be accomplished by using item price alone. The difference between price and shadow price is the impact of other factors such as weight and volume on total costs. Examples are the cost of up-mass (lifting the spare up to the site) in the case of a space station and the cost of storage space on board a vessel.

The general equation for shadow price is:

The values of b1 (Weight Price)and b2 (Volume price) are optional global inputs (Projects/Data), and may vary by operating site (Deploy/Site Groups).
