Backorder

Backorder (バックオーダ)

For 1st-indenture parts at the operating sites, backorders are ‘holes’ in the end-item or system. A backorder for a lower indenture part indicates a “hole” in a parent item. At the supporting echelons, a backorder indicates a resupply delay to a lower echelon or (except for a first-indenture item) a hole in a parent being repaired at that location.
